Blocked drains near planted areas are often caused by roots getting into the drainage. This usually happens through broken joints or small cracks. If the pipework isn’t badly damaged, the roots can be cleared using special cutting tools or high pressure jetting using a specialist root cutting jet head.

If the root infestation is extensive and the pipework is badly damaged, the appropriate solution to this would be to line the drain or carry out an excavation and install new pipework.  Our Engineers can advise on the correct action required.
