We ensure that our works are carried out in accordance of the Environmental Agency requirements with all duty of care documents provided. Interceptors often have a variety of substances in them, ranging from oil to petrol/diesel. Regular Interceptor cleaning and emptying is important to keep a system running efficiently and also helps to avoid any Environmental incidents.

Regulatory authorities such as the Environmental Agency recommend that Interceptor tanks are cleaned every six months to avoid blockages, contamination and pollution of your drainage systems.

We are seeking a full-time permanent Drainage Engineer who is able to work alone or as part of a team to carry out a wide range of drainage works in the North West area.

Drainage/Groundwork experience preferred but not essential – full training is available.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving license.

Starting Salary £30,683 increasing to £34,092 on completion of successful training period + bonus payments, on call payments and overtime.

Will require company DBS check, payable by the company.

Root infestation and subsequent blocked drains are a common problem in drains near to planted areas. Roots infiltrate drains either through defective pipe joints or cracks, fractures and holes in the pipework.  If the pipework is not badly damaged, roots can often be removed using specialist root cutting equipment or high pressure jetting using a specialist root cutting jet head.

If the root infestation is extensive and damage to the pipework is great, the appropriate solution to this would be to line the drain or carry out an excavation and install new pipework.  Our Engineers can advise on the correct action required.
